One dock inspection, one price
$550 - Residential service only. Inspecting is good for Lake Norman, Mt. Island Lake and Lake Wylie.
20-Point Inspection
Basic 20-Point Inspection Include: Boat dock inspection, Water Depth Analysis, Shoreline Classification, Regulatory Agency Compliance Status. Electrical inspection not included. Water Depth Analysis is defined by water depth in and around the dock.
Written report
Written report opinion and content is based upon current industry practices and prices

ABOUT US
I started Lake Permits Plus the day I lost my dock,
It was 2008 and it wasn’t a great year to be living on Lake Norman and be in real estate. Times were financially tough but made it even more difficult is when my dock was literally obliterated in a storm. My Permitter gave me 6 months to replace my dock and when I didn’t, the shoreline was “scrubbed”. (Permitter talk for no more dock possible on my specific homesite…ever). You see, things had changed since my dock was originally built. My shoreline was considered “environmental” and by the Permitters current regulations, my shoreline was not eligible for dock or any other kind of improvement. To say that I came from the school of hard knocks would be an understatement.
Lake Permits Plus was started to help the Charlotte area community with services related to living on the lake, specifically, helping to navigate through the regulatory process to obtain a permit, help them receive quotes for new docks, seawalls, quick service on small dock repairs and dredging projects. Our mission lets help make a complicated process easy.
I started out as a licenced builder 15+ years ago and within that time, I’ve been a land developer, real state agent, mortage broker, software developer and most recently a marine specialist. My knowledge of building and real estate paired with my marine experience makes me and our company the people to call.
It’s a family business. My wife Kim and my daughter Audrey pitch in. They make up the rest of the “Team”.
